“ Auto Mechanic scammer's” All American auto repair In Boca I would give you a zero rating if I could unfortunately I had to put one star rating on 6/10/26 came to all American auto repair my A/C Was not working wanted to get it checked. They took it in right away after 20 minutes thay provided an estimate on my vehicle stating that I had a shorted AC compressor. It would need to be Removed/and Replace with a new a/c compressor. They removed all my Freon on my Vehicle and left it Empty. I told them I would let them know. The estimate was a total of $1436.12 to install a new AC compressor. Went and had a second opinion the Next day they checked out my AC on my vehicle after two hours of diagnosing they found a malfunction Climate AC control Console they showed me compressor was working once you move the switch between settings The compressor was coming on and off due to low on Freon after all American removed all my Freon they recharged it. It started working perfectly I replaced the AC climate control. The second opinion charged me $180 to diagnose it. STAY AWAY! I’ve been a loyal customer of All American Auto Repair for years and have referred many people there, which makes this experience especially disappointing. My 19-year-old daughter’s 2019 Buick Encore needed a water pump. All American quoted over $1,700. We got a second opinion from another reputable local shop, and the estimate was $882 for the same repair. I understand shops have different labor rates, but a difference of more than $800 is hard to justify. It left me feeling like we weren’t being treated fairly. To make matters worse, the staff seemed unhappy when we decided to take the car elsewhere and is now charging us a $100 diagnostics fee. Customers should never feel uncomfortable for getting a second opinion on a major repair. Unfortunately, after this experience, I can no longer recommend this shop.

I have been a visitor to the area several times over the past few years but know next to no-one here so when a UPS worker steered me to Ricardo and this shop by chance, during a gas leak ‘emergency’ in my f150,let’s just say I got EXTREMELY lucky to end up in the hands of Ricardo and company. They were as up front and honest as my local shop back home and that’s a real relief when you’re in a foreign place.( these days…) Bottom line, Ricardo could not have been any more knowledgable, honest and professional than he was when taking care of me. I even called my dealerships back in the Carolinas and they both confirmed Ricardo was not only doing exactly the right work but also for less than either dealership could come close to matching in cost. ( imagine that😄) Again, I just got lucky to run into a guy at UPS who “knew a guy”…that he’d been using for years on his own automobile. Don’t even hesitate to take your car troubles to Ricardo , he will take good care of you!

I’ve been taking my car here for servicing on and off for several years, and today I’m even more grateful for All American and the way they were able to significantly reduce the cost of replacing my headlight. What was close to $400 was under $200 (turns out you get an extra discount as a AAA member). I’m grateful for the reliability and honesty All American provides for their customers.
